Hello, I'm Kuldip.
Are you struggling to cope? Does life feel overwhelming? Whatever it is that you need help with I am here to listen and provide you with a safe and confidential space to talk about your issues. The most important person in the counselling room is you. I will try to help you navigate whatever is going on for you and find your own answers. As a person-centred counsellor the therapy that I practice will be individually tailored to you.
I have a particular interest in bereavement counselling having worked for a bereavement charity for 2 years. I volunteered for a brain tumour charity and have experience of counselling those facing a terminal diagnosis as well as family members affected by it.
I also have experience of working with children and young people as I provided counselling in a primary school and an agency counselling young people aged 11–18. A variety of issues came up ranging from school avoidance, self-esteem, autism to anxiety and coping with exam stress.
I always ensure that we have a free 10-15 minute preliminary chat over the telephone or via video to see if we are compatible to work with each other.

A free 15-minute call
You'll see the times I have free. I work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Pick one, and we'll talk for fifteen minutes, by phone or video, whichever you find easier. Ask anything, see how it feels.
-
Paperwork, done online
If you decide to go ahead, you complete the intake and consent paperwork online before your first session. Nothing to print, and nothing to work out on the day.
-
Sessions, online or in person
Online sessions are by video: you join from wherever you feel most comfortable, your sofa, your kitchen, your car. If you'd rather meet face to face, I see people from rooms in Knowle, Solihull.
